  1. AI helps. People decide.

    Teachers notice small steps forward every day. This demo introduces three ways artificial intelligence can help prepare useful wording.

    The examples use made-up data. AI provides a starting point, while people remain responsible for the decisions.

  2. 1. Suggest an observation

    First, open a student portfolio in the teacher demo and choose Suggest an observation. The system refers to the saved notes.

    It offers wording and a reason. The teacher accepts or rejects it; only acceptance adds an approved observation to the portfolio.

  3. 2. Draft a progress report

    Next, choose Draft a progress report. AI prepares editable wording from the portfolio, rather than a finished assessment.

    The teacher checks the content, saves the draft, and decides whether to share it with the parent. AI does not send it automatically.

  4. 3. Explain the dashboard

    Programme administrators can also request a written summary from the insights dashboard. This feature works with aggregate statistics.

    It helps highlight questions worth following up. It is not a diagnosis or a prediction about an individual child.

  5. Watch it happen on screen

    Here are those same three steps on the actual screens, recorded with made-up pupils and made-up notes.

    The teacher opens a portfolio and asks for an observation. The suggestion arrives with its reason attached.

    Nothing is added until the teacher accepts it. Rejecting it leaves the portfolio unchanged.

    A progress report is drafted from the same evidence, and stays a draft until someone chooses to share it.

    On the programme dashboard the summary reads totals only, never an individual child's record.

  6. A suggestion is not a conclusion

    AI can make mistakes, so every draft needs human review. A suggestion is not a conclusion.

    Video interpretation is still provisional and must not be presented as a finished capability. This introduction focuses on the connected text-assistance workflows.

  7. Try the demonstration

    To explore, select the teacher persona and try a suggestion and report draft. Then switch to the programme administrator for the insights summary.

    AI helps with preparation. Teachers and administrators keep the final decision.

  1. Capture
    The teacher logs an everyday moment — a note, a photo, or a short clip.
  2. Insight
    For a clip, the system derives gentle, non-diagnostic signals — for the teacher's eyes only.
  3. Draft
    A small AI drafts a strengths-based report from the evidence — nothing invented.
  4. Approve
    The teacher edits and approves every word before anything is shared.
  5. Share
    With consent, the report reaches the family — clearly marked AI-assisted, human-approved.
  6. Oversee
    Programme, NGO and researcher see de-identified figures, with a full audit trail.
